Networked Migrations: listening to and performing the in-between space

My work with Telematic Performances derives from a practice-based research project Networked Migrations that explores the ‘in-between’ sonic space that exists within the context of migration, through Deep Listening practice and improvisatory performances on the Internet, in order to expand the perceived sonic spaces that inform the migratory experience. Also inspired from previous research in co-located networked improvisation "Listening and Remembering".
Since 2011, this research has been supported by CRiSAP - Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice, London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
